I’ve been called out by the Universe. It has big plans for me, and I really can’t ignore it any more. There’s no shutting out the call once you’ve gotten it – it’s either time to saddle up and do work…or continue to be stubborn and dig in your heels, until the Universe gives you one BIG shove, and you’re left with no choice.
If you’ve ever been here before, you know it’s a scary place. It’s one full of uncertainty and really big questions – with no way of answering them.
There’s one, giant, echoing cry of “HOW?!”
The most uncertainty is generated when you begin to wonder how you’ll possibly get from where-you-are to where-you’re-called-to-be. It often seems daunting, overwhelming…impossible, even. There are so many factors to consider – time, money, relationships, outside opinions, professional or personal responsibility, your kids, your health, your stress levels. If you stopped to think about it, you could easily come up with a list of 120 obstacles preventing you from getting there.
The secret, then, is to NOT stop and think about it. At all. This whole process requires one gigantic leap of faith. The Universe is in charge of the ‘how’s – it’s up to you to simply get clear about your intention and start moving. One step is all it takes to begin. Then you take another. Guess what? You’re moving in the direction of your dreams, of your purpose. And that’s where the magic kicks in.
Once you signal to the Universe that you’re ready to step up, that you’ve heard the call and have chosen to answer it, suddenly everything conspires to help you on your journey. The Universe sets into motion all the support you’ll need. You begin to notice those synchronicities appearing, the little ‘coincidences’ that just happen to be perfectly timed, lucky breaks. All just further confirmation that you’re on the right track.
As long as you are following your inner guidance, and moving forward, the stars will continue to align for you. That’s the miracle we all seek – to make life more about ease and grace, less about struggle and toil. And this miracle is something that each and every one of us has access to, at any time, from anywhere.
The truth is, we are all called to greatness. Each of us has a unique and undeniable gift that we’ve been given to serve the world, to leave it in better shape than we found it. Imagine what could happen if even HALF of us decided to listen to that calling, to make a difference, to give our gifts and share our talents. What would our world look like then?
